    Heather Daigrepont Bio:

Heather Daigrepont is a Rapid Response Coordinator for The Louisiana Workforce Commission. As a Certified Workforce Development Professional and Certified Professional Trainer, she assists Region 6 employers with pro-active, business-focused, and flexible layoff aversion strategies designed to prevent or minimize the duration of layoffs and plant closings. When there are no layoffs or plant closings in her region, she assists employers with their recruiting needs, such as writing job descriptions, posting jobs online, identifying potential candidates and talent pipelines, and much more. Prior to joining The Louisiana Workforce Commission in 2018, she worked as a Training Coordinator for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Alexandria where she discovered her passion and talents with business and community engagement.

Heather is an Alexandria native and is very active within her community. Her passion for community development is fostered through volunteerism. A few volunteer roles to name are serving as Red Coat Ambassador for the Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Advisory Council for Volunteers of America Greater Baton Rouge, and as Membership Chair for The Young Professionals Group of Cenla (YPG).
